How tall was this supposed to be? How far did they get?

I’m sorry to hear that. I was researching Chicago construction trends shortly after it was proposed, and I’ve been intrigued by it ever since. Somewhere on the CCC board is a thread about Cecil’s column on the tallest building to which I put a bunch of links on the proposal (which I refuse to drag out again just now, thanks).
