Remember the last time you had a prediction about the health care bill? How’d that go?
How it went is that our Congressdumbasses are even more dumbass than I thought.
There are approximately 105 countries that have been through this process of socializing health care for their citizens. Surely you can cite at least one of them that has premiums doubling faster than ever three years? Ever?
Although frankly, I hope you’re right: that’s exactly what it would take to get a public plan back on the table, and I don’t think health care is really going to control costs until that happens. But sooner or later, we’ll join the ranks of modern countries with lower health care costs, better health care outcomes, and much saner insurance plans than we have now…i.e. pretty much any of them.
I doubt it. After 2010, the party for you and your ilk will be over.
Another prediction. Are you giving odds?
If you wanna bet, let me know what you’d be willing to bet on, and we can discuss.
If you are talking GOP majorities in either house, I may want a piece of that action, depending on the margin you are predicting.
