It seems to be a New Zealand site, but the reference to Indiana has me a little confused. Would people in NZ be expected to be so familiar with Indiana that the fact that it’s in the U.S. doesn’t even need to be mentioned? Somehow I doubt it. ---

What, you think people abroad haven’t heard of _Indiana_polis? We sure have. One of my graduate school exams (on Quantum Chemistry) had an extra credit question: fill-in-the-names on a hand-drawn blank map of the 48 contiguous states. The teacher thought he’d get a laugh out of his 100% foreign student body. We got between 30 and 40 states right, more than he did; we had problems with “the square places”. All of us got Connecticut, Rhode Island, Delaware and Maryland right despite none of them being shown on the map (apparently Mr I’m So Smart had gotten tired and figured we wouldn’t know such tiny places existed anyway). We were in Florida and none of us had studied US geography (in or outside of a class context), our geographical knowledge came simply from watching too many American TV shows and movies. ---
