“I’d like to thank the Academy for seating me next to George Clooney at the nominee’s luncheon” indeed. Best Documentary Feature: **March of the Penguins** Figures penguins would win over an expose of corporate corruption and street fights in Newark. Think they were expecting to win, with all the stuffed animals? Charlize’'s dress was fugly as hell. That bow was too much and it made her look flat-chested. She is quite beautiful, though, and I think from the neck up she looked fantastic as always. JLo, that color is not for you, and why are you covering your butt with that flowy thing? Her severe hair is not flattering either. Or maybe I just don’t like her. Uh oh, another Best Song presentation. Bleah. Potty break time. ---

What the hell is up with the full-sized burning car onstage during that song? I thought someone had set the auditorium on fire. What a weird and obnoxious choice. Some really out-there choices for the show this year. Wonder who the “special surprise performance” will be from after the next commercial break? ---

Nobody mentioned it, but Nicole Kidman looked fabulosasexymagnifico in that white number earlier. She looks great as a blonde but bring back the red, Nicole. Please, bring back the red. For me? ---
