I think my “permed hair” response could have gone into “big hair.”
Not that it would move me out of the middle of the pack.

not really - perms were just curly, sometimes long, but not necessarily big.
“Big” hair was teased and backcombed and sprayed with what amounted to crazy glue in a pretty aerosol can and always looked (to me anyway) like straw

Cool, fifth. I didn’t think I’d scored that high. I knew i should have gone with “Duran Duran” over “Depeche Mode” and “gag me with a spoon” over “fer sure,” though. “Flock of Seagulls” didn’t even occur to me, duh.
