Wow, Fred Willard looked exactly the same in 1939! ---

I thought the piece was funny. I love them all together in all their movies, but it just felt out of place here for some reason. ---

It seems like you should always have a speech ready. ---

‘Dragon Tattoo’ for film editing. A worthy choice, since I’ve actually seen it. 😃 ---

I should have made a bet on Octavia not thanking God in her speech. That speech by the editors was great “I didn’t think we were gonna win, so I didn’t prepare anything” That’s 4 for Hugo. They’re finally getting it right this year! ---

Lotta love for Hugo so far tonight. Which reminds me - why, if they’re in France but we hear the characters in English, why do they speak with an English accent? I know it’s an accepted convention in movies, but Hugo is one of the few times I actually noticed it. Not sure why that is. ---

damn, is it going to be a return of the king-esque clean sweep for hugo? ---

Hugo looks to be the big winner tonight. Just mentioning, since no one else seems to have noticed. 😃 ---

The on-stage effect of the giant film strip in motion was amazing. How the heck did they do that? ---

The focus group film was funny, but with all the talk about streamlining the telecast that and the montage of old films were expendable. ---

Not sure what Cirque de Soliel has to do with the movies - okay, yes I am sure, they have nothing to do with the movies - but they sure are good at what they do. Damn! Also, that was nothing like any movie-going experience I’ve ever had. So Kermit was wrong about that. ---
