That’s really tacky turning off the mic in the middle of a speech. After they didn’t do it when the Iranian guy pulled out the paper, I thought they were actually gonna let winners talk this year. I don’t know who is gonna win Best Animated, but I’m so glad Pixar got shut out for once! ---

It’s my understanding that the Academy doesn’t recognize motion-capture in the animation category. Which is odd, since they also don’t recognize it in any acting category (poor Andy Serkis). ---
