Aw, Chris Evans, did you have to grow a beard? Neat beards can be nice on certain men, but for a handsome man to grow a beard is like having a beautiful painting and covering it up with a shawl. (Of course, did you notice the very first image in the hero montage? 🙂 ) ---

The Pepsi Mini Cans commercial was hilarious. (I said “I’ll have what she’s having” as it was being said). ---

> [@freckafree](#): > > Did I dream this…that the Wizard of Oz is no longer going to be broadcast on TV? Hope this isn’t a misunderstanding of my comment…as far as I know, they’re not going to stop broadcasting it. It’s just that it’s quite different from the days when they only broadcast it once a year, and we kids got our bath early and got into our jammies so we could watch it…just that special, around-Easter, once-a-year. These days, people can watch it anytime they want, and it’s even broadcast more than once a year. Which is nice, especially for those of us who love it, but there was that specialness about the way they used to do it. ---

Pretty tight set of speeches so far. I don’t think anyone has been played off yet. Thing is, I don’t see this thing running any shorter than usual. Those bits with Ellen in the audience seemed to go on forever. ---
