He compared box office grosses of the B. Picture nominees and noted that 1 of them, American Sniper, had grossed 1/2 of the total BO grosses. He said "If you split this room in half, this half is the other 7 nominees… " turns to face the other half of the theater, and continues “… and American Sniper is Oprah.” Came across to me like a fat joke aimed at a woman who struggled with her weight. My wife didn’t think it was that bad. “Uma, Oprah” was just stupid. This one had the ability to be offensive. At least that’s my take on it… ---

Since Oprah is richer than about half the countries in the world and all. But I can see where it might have been interpreted your way, too. It wasn’t a very good joke, I agree. ---

Already a 50/50 show. NPH is great, but the first song sux and several of the jokes/bits have fallen flat. ---

Channing Tatum announces Team Oscar people (people who made short films and are supposed to be the next generation) J-Lo’s boobs, yeah! They sure were pretty. Kudos to Pine for not staring. Everybody else was. ---
