You don’t recall Republicans bashing Clinton for engaging in deficit spending?

My point is that both parties have been known to engage in deficit spending, but it seems like it’s the Republicans who are less willing to admit to doing it and more willing to condemn the other guys for doing it. It’s called hypocrisy.

And the partisan politics continue. All in the name of the nonexistant lockbox (which of course sounds better than “mattress”). Come on DB, we all know that the surplus is used for other things, and an IOU is left behind. Complaining that it will be one type of IOU instead of another is silly.

David if you want to answer that please start another thread.

Then again, nobody seems to be rising to my OP anyway.
