Sorry to both of you…I have to admit I haven’t actually looked in any of the debunking links in this thread as I’ve seen most of them before (and probably a few that aren’t in here). Didn’t mean to imply I was stealing your thunder there.

Ah ha! You’ve just outed yourself! Who do you work for? Is it the Masons? The illuminati? The greys?
Wait wait wait, so you show the picture of the pentagon after the collapse, as proof that it didn’t only make a 16 foot hole in its initial impact? What the hell is up with that? And the damaged windows on your next link, I sure can see those. Why don’t you look at that one a little harder?
What else? Hmmm, what about the pools of melted steel found underneath all the debris of the towers? Sure you can argue “but planes hit them!” but a plane didn’t hit Tower 7 and it had the same thousand degree temperatures as the other towers. What about how firefighter battalion chief Palmer reporting that he had two isolated pockets of fire that he should of been able to take out with two lines? If there was a raging inferno like they would like us to believe with over 1,500 degree temperatures that guy wouldn’t have been able to approach that fire, much less claim he could knock it out with two lines.
Hmmm… what about the security camera footage of the “plane” on impact? You can catch a quick glance in one of the frames, and it sure doesn’t look like a huge 757, it looks a lot, lot smaller.

What about them? The only source for molten steen under #7 is one guy: Peter Tully of Tully Construction, who took charge of the cleanup. Another cleanup guy, Mark Loizeaux, also mentioned molten steel under #7 but he later said he was just echoing Tully. How come there’s only one witness? Perhaps he’s mistaken? Or, if he’s not, molten steel tends to flow–could it have flowed there from 1 & 2?

Two lines of what? Water? Foam?

Oh really? What about oil well fires, which can reach temperatures of 3200°? How to firefighters manage to approach them if they can’t approach ones half that temperature?

So where exactly is the photographic proof that “it” made a 16-foot hole? I haven’t found any.

A perusal of the evidence has led me to believe that there are people seeing “melted steel” where none exists.
What about how firefighter battalion chief Palmer reporting that he had two isolated pockets of fire that he should of been able to take out with two lines?
I read the quote, and my interpretation was that Palmer was reporting on what was in front of him. It seems a stretch to say that he was saying that’s all there was in the entire building. How would he know what was going on floors above?

You’re really losing me here, I saw the fires with my own eyes, I would describe them as a raging inferno. Because of this out-of-context quote by a firefighter in a chaotic situation, all of a sudden we’re supposed to believe – what? That an airplane loaded with fuel crashing into a buiding makes tiny, isolated fires? You don’t need to have witnessed this, you can see the extent of the fire on videotape. It seems obvious enough that the flames were intense enough to cause many people to jump out the windows. Without knowing exactly where Palmer was in the building and where the main fires were and how damaged the slabs were, you’re just making up these “facts” about where he could and couldn’t be.

I don’t see how a reasonable person could interpret this as a missile. And I don’t understand why overwhelming eyewitness confirmation of this as an airplane doesn’t count for anything.
Just for the record, I actually know someone who saw the plane heading towards the Pentagon. This person is very credible. He was Arlington county FD at the time and was one of the first Firefighters to arrive at the Pentagon.
Not that this will make a bit of difference to the conspiracy theorists. I suppose I must be part of the conspiracy too!
I know that check from the trilateral commission is around here somewhere…

It shows the damage was not just a 16 foot hole, but over here it is more clear why you don’t know what you are talking about:

Only if you deny perspective exists, the reality is that others have concluded that a plane does fit the trail that goes into the pentagon.
But this is all academic, the testimony of multiple witnesses points to a plane hitting the Pentagon, there is no convincing evidence that all of them were deluded or lying.

Not to mention that the plane must have gone somewhere. Where would that be, if not the Pentagon? And if it did go somewhere else, what are 757 parts doing in the debris? How did passengers’ bodies manage to be retrieved from the wreckage?

 Obviously the guys who fired the missile had planted 757 air craft parts on board. And then strapped a few passengers from the air craft on so it would look convincing before firing the things.
The actual location of the air craft is easy too…I’m surprised you can’t see the obvious really. Its at area 57 next to the alien space craft…and the rest of the passengers and crew (they only needed some of them to make it look convincing) are in tanks with the aliens captured.
Really, it all falls together.

p.s.
Its at area 57 next to the alien space craft…
The alien spacecraft is at Area 51. Area 57 is where they keep the alien steak sauce.
lol, I was wondering who would catch that. Damn, I thought it was obscure too.

Mmmmm…Dish of the Day sauce!

This is a tough environment for conspiricy nutballs of all stripes. They generally dip a toe in the waters here…and find out the sharks are hungry!

I was quite shocked to find out today that there is apparently a large following to the idea that the the events of 9/11 were planned and intentional…by our own administration.
Now this comes off to me as even more wacky than most conspiracy jabber, but the guy I talked to seem to have some very specific “facts” about how the physics of the buildings collapse was not consistent with what would happen given the circumstances of planes crashing into them. The popular theory seems to be specifically placed and well timed explosives. I pretty much stopped listening after he said there was never even a plane crash at the pentagon and such…I find it pretty offensive.
My question is if there is ANY basis at all for the claims, is there anything the least bit sketchy about the way in which the buildings were destroyed? I am expecting a pretty resounding no, but any clues into the thought processes of these people would be great. If you are a theorist yourself your input would be especially helpful.
I do believe it is quite possible the administration ignored possible warnings, but if there is any indication that they were actually involved in it for political or economic gain, please throw it out there…humor me.
First, why don’t you give me an idea of how much was ignored from the first WTC attack in Feb '93 through Able Danger in '99 … then maybe I can respond to you? …

No idea how much but there were intelligence reports that something big was impending against US soil but not what nor where.

If my father only managed to teach me one thing before he died, it was his First Rule of Conspiracies.
The First Rule of Conspiracies is that someone always talks.
Maybe they talk for money, or for the glory, or to settle a score, or for a dozen other reasons, but someone always talks.
To which I added The Second Rule of Conspiracies.
The Second Rule of Conspiracies is, the pieces have to fit together.
Therefore,
A) Find someone who claims to be in on the conspiracy and
B) Can actually explain in a logical fashion how all the pieces fit together
and I’ll keep an open mind. Otherwise, don’t waste my time.

lol … great advice! The administration could keep the 9/11 conspiracy under wraps … but not the Cheney shooting! LMAO!
Out of curiosity, what do the conspiracy theories who insist that it wasn’t a 757 that hit the Pentagon say about what happened to the 757 and the passengers on it? Surely they have some inventive and ridiculous answer to this conundrum, but I’ve never heard it.
