9/11- did any of the people hanging out the windows of the WTC survive?

I knew the real purpose of the 1993 bombing several years before it was released to the press (an acquaintance who worked for the elevator company told me) and I had always suspected that the terrorists intended to do more than turn them into quarter-mile-high smokestacks.

Do you think they were trying to get the WTC to topple right onto other buildings? I sometimes wonder how much higher the death toll would have been if the towers hadn’t collapsed in on themselves but had instead fallen over like trees.

I doubt that would be physically possible. I cant imagine the tower structure could support its weight at an angle.
