# 90's problem solving video game.  Bad guy killed children will dolls. Similar to Myst.

Tryiong to recall the name of an old school problem solving video game. Bad guy killed children will dolls. Format was kind of [similar to Myst.](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myst)

Intro video started with “He was a drifter”.

Anyone recognize this?

It was definitely **The 7th Guest.** I bought the original CDs on eBay and I’ve been able to run them using DOSBox.

It’s also worth mentioning the follow-up The 11th Hour, as well as Trilobyte (the original company) releasing The 7th Guest for iOS not long ago. (Maybe for Android too, I don’t know.)
