Is there any connection between the Ronnie Milsap song, and the argument from the Virginia AG in Loving v. Virginia that the whites and blacks in the state equaled “99 and 44 one hundredths” of the population?

I find it an astounding coincidence if Ronnie wrote a song seven years later and picked the same language.
