I’d love to see Sluggo’s nose art! I got an e-mail from the paperclip guy. He suggested I start by trading a piece of birch bark since I live in Birch Bay. Wouldn’t that be a hoot? To trade and trade until a piece of birch barck becomes a Robinson or a Cessna? ---

And they do go and fight in the sky. Snoopy always seems to beat the Red Baron, somehow. The Volsin’s original, and so are most of the vehicles, like the Renault light tank. If you’re in the area… it’s one of those things you really should see. ---

It’s actually not all that good (I can buy Cliff Robertson, because a number of US pilots continued to serve in the RAF even after Pearl Harbor . . . but George Chakiris as a Danish Resistance leader?); still, the score and (much of) the aerial photography are definite positives. But even if it were an utter catastrophe, I would forgive it—because it introduced me to the Mosquito. \ ---
