Stoid is trying to say that as long as you avoid carbs like the plague, you can eat everything else you see and still shrink - the total number of calories is completely immaterial. She’s also trying to say that the reason people end up fat in the first place has nothing to do with overeating, they’re just programmed to be fat. That’s not reasonable, that’s crazy. ---

For some reason this reminds me of the time years ago when I was on vacation in an exotic clime (Rapid City, South Dakota\*) and decided on playing a round of golf at a local course. I called up the place to ask what the wait was before I could tee off (courses are often crowded during the summer) - but when I asked the woman answering the phone “What’s your wait?” she screamed “I beg your pardon!!!” and hung up on me.
