It’s randomish text to get past Spam filters. As far as what’s the point, if it’s not selling anything, people speculate these are tests to see if the address being sent to is good (and doesn’t send back a bounce message). ---

Various other possible explanations: - Lots of these emails won’t be manually marked as spam, unlike v!agra ones which will almost certainly meet that fate. This will reduce the effectiveness of filters, so similar emails will be more likely to get through in future. -The link simply got missed out. Spammers, like everyone else, can screw up their systems so it doesn’t send the right combination of information. - There’s a link, perhaps as an image, which hasn’t shown up in your email client for various reasons. ---
