I think it was your president Obama that once said, “Just give it a rest you whiney bunch of fucknuggets”. Its become obvious that when he said that, he was actually talking about the Calander girls currently hanging out in ATMB scratching around looking for things to be sanctimonius little twerps about. So its like this. Why dont you just get the fuck over yourselves? If I see one more delicate little prick moaning away in ATMB about how a mod was nasty to them, or how a mod used a bad word, or how a mod stole their fucking lunch money, I swear I am going to come to America and start bitch slapping fuzzy kitties. Well, yes and no. By and large, we hold our mods in high esteem, they are offered a difficult job, and do it well. This is why they are called the “Luminous Ones” by certain groveling ass-kissers. The butt-hurt bitching goes with the territory, it could hardly be otherwise. The Board caters to smart-asses, we feel at home here. Smart-asses are notoriously prickly and prideful. Out of that group, we pick our mods, they are chosen because they are certifiable. They volunteer, how could it be otherwise? The Few, the Proud, the Barking Mad! The Mod Squad! ---

Mod teases someone’s stupidness in a mildly snarky way, poster returns a mild (but clearly against the rules) direct insult, mod gives him a mod note. It should have been totally unremarkable. The problem is that The Butthurt seem to be gaining ever more traction on this board, in both the poster and mod population alike. Jesus fuck, do I ever wish for the old days when mods could snark on posters as they wished, posters could Pit them if they felt it was over the top and the mods could tell them to go fuck themselves in the Pit thread if they disagreed. Now it’s all tiptoeing and whining to the teacher. Annoying. ---
