# A Book Title/Author Game

We’ve done movies. We’ve done TV shows. We’ve done music groups. We’ve done artists and song titles. We haven’t done literature.
I propose that we play a game using author’s names and book titles. Someone plays a book title and author’s name, for example _The Green Hills of Earth_- Robert Heinlein. The next person can then play off either the author’s name or the title of the book, for example The \*\*Green \*\* Hills of Africa- Ernest Hemingway. The next person can play off either the title or the author.
The rules:
-no playing books by the same author back to back. I don’t want a bibliography devoted to one author but want to see how many different books and authors we can come up with.
-the book doesn’t have to be in print nor need you provide a cite for it. Let’s trust each other to play fairly.
-the book must be fiction. There are just too many non-fiction books out there. -Let’s have a little challenge here.
Anthologies of short stories by one author are okay. Year’s best collections or anything edited by someone else or containig multiple authors is an illegal play.
-The titles must be in English. _Quo Vadis_, although written in English, would not be a legal play.
-You must list both the title and author. If you don’t know both, then you can’t play it.
-No plays or published screenplays, only books.
I play _The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress_- Robert Heinlein. I seem to be in a Heinlein mood today.
