And since I’m the only one of my specialty on this team, it’s all in my lap. And the classification level precludes involvement by our lesser-cleared trainees. rah. Fortunately, there’s nothing in particular going on in my life right now, apart from our anniversary on Weds, but we’ll be celebrating on Friday night, I think. I’ll avoid working late on Friday. I got sent home early today. It’s not that bad–it’s making up for the two and a half hours extra I worked last Wednesday so my paycheck won’t have a huge bite taken out of it. Oh how I love being an hourly wage slave. After a cup of coffee at my Favorite Coffee Hangout, I have determined that Hilton coffee is swill and I shall not partake of it anymore without dire need. That stuff’s good too, even if KT complains that the chorizo from the grocery store tastes the same as their kielbasa. Or quasi-[Thai chicken pizza](http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/rachael-ray/thai-chicken-pizza-recipe/index.html). Good if you like sweet ingredients in your main course. KT doesn’t, but I do so I like that one. Or [blackened chicken pizza](http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/rachael-ray/blackened-chicken-pizza-with-yellow-tomato-salsa-recipe/index.html), which works equally well as a topping for pasta. We both like that one. (We do both of the pizzas on wraps instead of pizza dough… they don’t need that much dough, and it works well if that’s what you have on hand. Or they do make good pasta toppings as well.) Can you tell I like fast, easy after-work meals, which often involve chicken? 😛 ---

OOOH! I vote for death chicken too **Muppet**. Or parmesan chicken. That’s what I had for dindin ‘cept I didn’t make it, the good Eyetalian place did. They have their family platters half price on Monday, so we got that. It’s enough for three or four people accordin’ to them. It was definitely enough for four. We both have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. YUM! I say do the chicken tonight and chunk up the roast beast for beef stew with some carrots and **N.OT.** for tomorrow. Good chilly weather food. Speakin’ of weather, rain will be movin’ in overnight. Tomorrow shall be a horrid mess on into Wednesday as it appears now. ICK! **MOOOOOOM** I caused you to need brain bleach? Death Chicken has been ruled out as we don’t have any condensed cream of whatever kicking around the house, and I’m not inclined to go to the Mega Grocery Store to get some because I know they’ll try to sell me a ridiculous substitute like condensed milk or powdered soup mix or something. ---

Up and at work feeling slightly less jet lagged due to sleeping for 11 hours last night. The potentail move/transfer that would get me with Hubby has fallen through so it looks like I will be leaving the company in February…makes our Vegas blow out look very silly when we will need the money come next year. Dammit!
