A Capella is a great doo-wop group name but it has already been used. A Capella was the doo-wop band that sang for the kids TV show called “Where in the world is Carmen SanDiego” and they were very good. ---

Don’t quite know _how_ to categorize my little “joke”. Since no one has “carried it forward” by adding a joke of the same “ilk” (_that_ word always makes me think of a suddenly frightened cartoon character swallowing hard). Stay with me, I’ll get there.😉 The joke draws its humor from the oldie “Duke of Earl”; the dialectic expression of the word “oil” (“earl”) from say, the Bronx; and what are known as “the essential oils”. So you might call that a “verbal…” What? What would be the grammatical term for this kind of joke? Thanks ---

I tried to think of one. Earl, earl, earl. I know! The Essential Earls! Then I scrolled back up to confirm that, yes, it was the one you’d already suggested. Here’s hoping someone else is better with the puns. Edit: All of Earl’s Stuff, maybe?
