# "A Christmas Prince"-- The "Best Worst Movie from Netflix"

I suspect Netflix pushed this at us because the wife and I have watched _iZombie_. After watching, I was kind of surprised that Rose McIver lowered herself to something like this.

Nevertheless, we enjoyed it for what it was. It was kinda cute.

However, the history buff in me really balked at the idea that

a European king in 2017 (well, 2016) can change national law by royal proclamation.

No no, only if it’s SECRET does it count as law.

This was _amazing_. And like **Spice Weasel** , I thought of the prince as Mike Birbiglia and the movie got so much better.

The least-fun issue to me was how Amber managed to get the plot started. “Oh, you’re American, so you must be the person that shouldn’t be here for two more weeks. Identification? In a castle filled with very important, powerful people? No, we won’t be vetting you. You’re who I said you were.”

She was a Power Ranger. I’m not sure she really thinks of herself as in line for an Emmy. She likely just enjoys the work where she can get it.
