Are you my son? He got my '88 Volvo wagon when I upgraded to a (used) '97 Volvo wagon. I felt comfortable knowing it would protect him when he inevitably totaled it, which he did in about 2007.

I still drive that '97 wagon. As you point out, the visibility is extraordinary (not quite as good as my BMW 2002 pick, but close).

Speaking of Volvo.. I just bought back the '71 P1800 from the Ex. Sadly, not Mint, paid too much, but at least I know where it’s been for the last 20 years.

1974 AMC Javelin AMX with the 401 under the hood and the 4-speed manual. I’d buy one today if I could, though I don’t have any idea how I’d afford to fuel it.
