Along with bears getting into our cars, they have ripped the door off of my shed three times. We don’t get trash service and I have to keep the household trash somewhere in between trips to the land fill. Last time I rebuilt door, I included some oak. Seems to help. And really, the whole point I was going to make is - moth balls. I crush them around the door to my shed and right inside. A snoot of that up the nose seems to deter them. ---

I’ve used mothballs to deter lots of things. With one exception. We have a burn barrel and I sprinkle mothballs around it to keep feral hogs from tipping it over. I looked out there one evening and saw feral hogs eating the mothballs. I bet they had a belly-ache. ---

Now I just sit on the deck and shoot the little shits. We have a brand new spring crop of sweet little piglets. Thank you Mother nature for making it possible for feral hogs to reproduce and somehow have 20 piglets per litter. Excuse me, I gotta go buy more ammo. ---
