# A comment on pathological liars

Dear Cecil,  
I once had a conversation with a pathological liar and got a pretty good clue as to what made him tick. He said reality was like a television, and all he was doing was changing the channels. I’m no psychiatrist, so I still don’t quite know what to make of this–you be the judge.
