I’m here at work and looking at a metric buttload of it that needs to be completed. Arrgh! They all _need_ it now!:rolleyes: I’ll get done what I can get done; otherwise tough titties. I can’t do it all and they’re just going to have to live with it. God knows, I’ve got to… The weather is gorgeous and we’ll be pushing 100 degrees today! It’s going to be a scorcher! Lucky me, I get to go home and cook up a biiiig batch of chili to take to Camp IWannaBeer on Friday morning. Ugh! Why couldn’t I have something cool, like FRUIT? Before I do that, I’ll have to go to the grocery store and pick up the fixin’s for the chili. I also need to pick various other items while I’m there. While the chili is cooking, I’ve got to do laundry, and pack the Expedition up with the tent, sleeping bags, camping chairs and other stuff we’ll need for the weekend. I’ll pack the food tomorrow morning. I’ve got a looooong day ahead of me. ---

I’d be happy to trade with you, **kopek.** Let’s see, I’ve got two complicated Business Case Analyses to do, about six access to care and consult reports to do, a referral and results report to do, preparation for a presentation, and a few other things. The BCAs take a long time to do, because I’ve got to pull data from various sources, by using different categories, calculate costs and marginal costs, enter it all into spreadsheets, show and array the data I used to arrive at my calculations, and the list goes on. Just spoke to my BiL re: my sister who’s hospitalized. She’s going into (or may be already) in surgery. My poor BiL was at the VA Hospital hooked up to a halter monitor and now needs to drive clear the hell back up to Seattle. He lives a good distance away from either of these locations. He was at the hospital with my sister up until 9:00 last night and drove all the way home to Port Orchard. Had I known that he needed to be out this way for his visit to the VA Hospital, I would have just had him stay at my place last night. Back to work! Slave; slave; slave… ---

Thanks, **Swampy.** I’m sure it’s all going to be fine with my sister. Trust me, Swampy, I think I’m going to have a blast at CampIWannaBeer. All the beer I want, potluck style cooking, and Saturday night, one of the organizers is deep frying turkeys and roasting chickens. There will be live music and dancing, horseshoe tournaments among other things, and just general good times. ---

Feeling kinda icky today, but I’ve taken Dad to the dentist (again! he needed a lot of cleaning) and I’m making a double batch of meatballs. Dindin was leftovers from last night. OYKW is on his way to ye olde homeplace. He decided to drive on over this evenin’ which makes sense but I didn’t want him to because I’m selfish. However, off I sent him with cookies so he won’t waste away durin’ that five hour drive. Thus, I am a bachelor until sometime Monday. What wild things do I have planned you ask? Well, there’s pool loungin’ and the bug man is comin’ first thing Monday. I know. How _do_ I keep up such a fast paced life! 😃 ---

Let’s all go to camp! Longish day today. Air conditioner decided to poop out yesterday; fortunately, it was very minor and they were able to fix it this morning, but last night was…not fun. I have extra work to hand out if anyone’s looking. 😃 Both and home and at work. Can’t pay you, but…ummm…it’s fulfilling! Came home and fell asleep almost immediately for about 1/2 an hour. Gotta go find dinner, plus also need to put laundry in dryer. (The other bright side of being stuck at home for a while this morning was getting 1 1/2 loads of laundry done.) **doggio** make sure you tie a rope to floatin’ cooler and hang on to the other end of the rope. That way the cooler will come to you. Better yet, tie the other end of the rope around your wrist. That’s even easier. Why, yes, I have tested this.
