So far so good on the vinegar. The smell is much fainter when you hold the jeans up to your nose and sniff and I have hardly smelled it at all while wearing them. My husband said he could not detect any odor at all–however, he does have a cold.
I think when I wash these, I will wash them with vinegar again to see if even more of the smell goes away.
