# A day without sports

Today is one of those rare days where there are no games in the NFL, NHL, NBA and MLB (obviously). We don’t see this often, it’s usually the days that bookend the MLB all star game in July although the Tour De France is usually going on.

In fact, except for one ESPN bowl, there’s nothing at all since college hoops is also shut down. This may be the slowest day in sports in quite a while. Rich Hill getting arrested at the Patriots game is still the top trending story on Twitter to tell you how slow things are.

Unless it falls on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday there will be an NFL game. I’m not sure why there were no NBA or NHL games.
