Semiotics is a branch of linguistics. How does it mingle with biology? Psychology applies scientific method to try to acquire information and make predictions about human behavior. It’s a young science but it’s a science (as long as you don’t confuse the study itself with applications such as psychotherapy). Skeptic is spelled with a ‘c.’ ---

Firstly you were very politely snarky 🙂 and secondly we agree that the paranormal can be studied using scientific method. As Diogenes has eloquently put it, you can test for the paranormal, but not study it. I should have been challenging Ralph124c, who said "legitimate scientist (parapsychologist), ". Ralph124c, how can a parapsychologist be a ‘legitimate scientist’? There’s nothing to study!
