I miss the Sherlock Holmes Mysteries or whatever it was called. When that went off the air, it was the beginning of the decline.
Pity. I often enjoy History Channel shows (such as “Modern Marvels”) and it’s a shame to think that they might not care about getting their facts correct. Come to think of it, I seem to remember watching a few weeks ago and saying, “Hey, isn’t that an urban legend?” when they gave one of their commecial break factoids (I don’t remember the factoid, just that I questioned it).
Their shows are still good for the most part but take the commercial break factoids with a grain of salt.

Personally, I liked it better when it was The Hitler Channel.
Now it seems that it’s never anything but Modern Marvels and all sorts of ‘Look at this really cool manmade thing!’ shows.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates the new Modern Marvels channel. Thousands of years of recorded history, and we get the history of the frakkin' toothbrush!
