Just saw a press release on CNN: apparently, IT’S OUR FAULT!!! A&F doesn’t see any problem with the thongs. In fact, they’re this generations’ “Underoos”!! [smacks head] I don’t recall Underoos that made so that a kids’ butt could hang out! If Underoos didn’t have any material on the back, where would you put the cartoon character? ---

I thought of this subject the other day. I was wondering, when I was wandering around the mall, why A&F hadn’t put out thongs for kids. They had already duplicated the adult’s clothes (which for some strange reason I cannot fit in. Stupid junior clothes mismarked. :P) for kids. I may be insane for the thinking, but that is what happened. And now this is what I hear. While I wear thong panties, I would be thoroughly disgusted if my niece came over with them on. It is just not appropriate because of the sexual nature that is behind thongs (IMHO). I…I…I’m speechless now. heh ---

I am not a fan of the thong or “butt floss” as i endearingly refer to them, but they are a big craze for the young girls over here as well. The slogans just really leave me speechless. What kind of mom buys these for her daughters?? Can there really be a market for this? ---

I’m surprised that people will buy string bikinis for their 10 year olds but shout with outrage concerning underwear. IMHO, the revealing swimsuits are much worse. At least thongs are meant to be worn underneath clothes. ---

The style here is to wear a thong and then a pair of low riding hip huggers, the most important point being that the thong is in full view above the pants ?! Go figure. I also agree about the bathing suits…usch! ---

I wore a little bikini when I was about, oh 11, but it didn’t look anything like an adult bikini-I was just a kid in a bathing suit! ---
