If this isn’t the right forum, I apologize, I wasn’t sure where to post it.

So, I have a few questions about **Teemings** , the world famous and beloved e-zine of the SDMB/Teeming Millions.

1. Is there a reason I can’t access any of the issues right now?

2. Are submissions welcome?

3. How would I go about submitting a piece and who would I submit it to?

4. Can anyone submit something or do they have to be a member of the SDMB in good standing?

5. Can you submit a piece and then post it as a new thread in the appropriate forum or is that considered _double dipping_?

6. Do I get a special prize of some kind since a thread I started about finding a black widow spider in my pants not only made _Threadspotting_, but was also chosen for **Teemings extra** or do I just bask in the glow of my moment in the sun?

Pie anyone?😉

No, it’s accessible from the Straight Dope homepage. [Here’s a link.](http://www.teemings.com/issue14/index.html)

I’d say, yes. [Here are the submission guidelines.](http://www.teemings.com/editorial_guidelines.html)

**1) Is there a reason I can’t access any of the issues right now?**

Our webhosting service had a small hiccup yesterday so neither Teemings nor the Disney Shorts website were available, but it’s been fixed now and should be accessible in all it’s dazzling glory.

**2) Are submissions welcome?**

Does the Pope wear a party hat?

\*\*3) How would I go about submitting a piece and who would I submit it to?

1. Can anyone submit something or do they have to be a member of the SDMB in good standing?\*\*

See the link that IceWolf referenced above.

**5) Can you submit a piece and then post it as a new thread in the appropriate forum or is that considered _double dipping_?**

We’d really prefer not to as we want to keep Teemings as original as possible. Consequently people have e-mailed me asking if we can use something that they’ve posted on the SDMB, in their LJ or elsewhere on the web and I’ve said no. We have, however, created [Teemings Extras](http://www.teemings.com/extras) for works that have shown up on the SDMB which we porbably _would_ have run had they been sent to us first.

**6) Do I get a special prize of some kind since a thread I started about finding a black widow spider in my pants not only made _Threadspotting_, but was also chosen for Teemings extra or do I just bask in the glow of my moment in the sun?**

Yes. You get a party hat. Once worn by the pope.
