A final message, what do you say and what media to use?

I haven’t decided what to say, but it’ll be recorded on 8-track, the format of the gods.

a friend of mine owns some land with a forward leaning (ie sheltered) sand stone cliff.

I have approached him with the idea of doing some petroglyphs on it. Not so much a final statement, but a general message from “our” time to the indefinite future.

Things I have considered including…

some “mysteries” (ie: The Hiesenberg uncertainty statement, expressed in symbolic logic)

A fractal pattern

depiction of a Mobius strip

a “sprayed” hand print…

If I’m dead, there’s really nothing I need to say anymore. I figure there’s no point in trying to hog the conversation once I’m no longer in the room.

Actually, I kinda like the idea.

I hope people get shit-faced or otherwise really happy when I die. Not because I died, but hell’s bells, don’t go all morose on me. Celebrate life, have some fun, go out and moon someone, whatever. Laugh your asses off if you can, while you can.

Let’s do it. Gary Gilmore
