I have an old tying tool called the “tailknott’r” (A really good knot tying tool, BTW) that I used years ago till I stopped fishing. I’ve found the tool, but not the ibstructions, and I’ve really searched “far and wide” I found a book, but it’s in German.
Maybe I’ll buy another, but I’ll hope for a source from here.
Thanks,
mangeorge

An internet search with Google turned up a long list of suppliers.

The following URL had several tools under $10 and an instrucition dideo for $5.00.

Yeah, I saw that. I have the tool, but I was looking for only the manual. I already gave up and ordered another one. Should come with the manual. I mostly remember the knots, what this tool is good for is halding the line while I tie. Old fingers are getting stiff, and the eyes aren’t a lot better. I’m going to find a good pair of lighted magnifying glasses.
Part of my desire for this specific one is that it’s cool looking.
Thanks for your help. I’ll have a look at some of the others on that page.
