Leftovers for late dinner. May do something fresh and interesting for lunch/dinner tomorrow. We have an all-hands meeting at Da Jungle next week - word is we will be finding out about new foolishness from HR. I figure my life could get interesting shortly. ---

I worked. I went to Canes Corner. I had steak. It took 90 minutes to bring me my food. My job waits until all are proficient with new stuff and then,like clockwork,it all changes. With our shitty connectivity it is doubly frustrating. Some one or many someoneā€™s create this busy work to keep themselves busy. Drives me batty it does. ---

Morninā€™ all! Iā€™m heading off South to go see the course manager for this potential uni course today. Not sure quite what the meeting is, officially itā€™s to ā€˜discuss my optionsā€™ but Iā€™m not sure if this is going to be simply a ā€œRight, these are the courses available, this is the course centre, here is informationā€ or if this is more of an interview, and basically my chance to talk my way in. Iā€™ve been swotting up a bit anyway, just in case. Itā€™s only a few hours away, but Iā€™m going to spend the night and have a proper look round the area, itā€™s in Cornwall, which is nice to visit anyway. Happy Thorsday all! ---

Something weird about temps in the mid-50s on a January morning. The weirdness will depart soon, tho - sub-freezing lows are on tap in a day or 2. rah. \*\*Nut \*\*- good luck with your discussion! If I can persuade my spousal unit to do a driving exploration of England and thereabouts, Cornwall is on my must-see list. And not just because of Doc Martin! šŸ˜ƒ I have a few things on my desk to deal with - maybe enough to keep me occupied today, but not much longer. Hope someone has something. Good Morninā€™ Yā€™all! Up and caffeinatinā€™. _YAWN_ ā€˜Tis 62 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 63 and mostly cloudy for the day. We are in for a cool down with lows in the mid to upper 30s and highs in the 50s for a few days. Also it rained last night. I did not know that would happen. I woke to answer the call of nature and heard the rain. Today I shall head over to the church house to assist with packinā€™ up boxes of stuff for storm relief and probably delivery to one or more of the relief centers. Dindin will probably be from the Pubic stoā€™. I do have a gnawinā€™ and a cravinā€™ for fried chikin and the Pubic stoā€™ has good fried chikin. What I know for sure is dindin will not involve me cookinā€™. **Nuts** good luck with the uni thing. **Sunny** just tell Beamer you invented most of the cuss words. šŸ˜ƒ Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then purtification must commence as one must look presentable to go about the public and the Pubic. Happy Thursday Yā€™all! ---

It suits him. **Spidey** , I have no idea why Philly was removed from the list of potential places to stop on our trip, and 'im indoors is not around to be questioned on it at the moment. Iā€™ll try to remember at the weekend and ask him then. The name 'im indoors comes from a comedy-drama called ā€œMinderā€ in which one character refers to his wife as 'er indoors, a person who is never seen and the implication is that sheā€™s a bit of a dragon. Heā€™s not a dragon, but since he doesnā€™t post here, he qualifies as not being seen šŸ™‚ **Moom** , as far as holiday stuff is concerned, we like zoos so an aquarium is close enough. I like museums, we like bars šŸ™‚ and just wandering around interesting places where thereā€™s interesting buildings to see. Most of the time we decide weā€™re going somewhere and then see what there is to do. Iā€™ll suggest that he looks at Baltimore too. Troublesome minion has been given his marching orders. He is sulking now. ---

For the odd & off-beat (think **Doggio** or even **flytrap** ) we have the [MĆ¼tter Museum](http://muttermuseum.org/). We also have all of the historical stuff from this countryā€™s founding from when we splintered off fromā€¦that country you live in. :o ---

Happy Thorsday! Itā€™s a bright and N.O.S. 49 degrees outside. Not so bad, but itā€™s the last warm day for a while; the temps are predicted to drop into the 30s. Iā€™m sorry about your cousin **FCM** , and itā€™s not exactly the same thing but I kind of understand the weird feeling. I have a cousin who was murdered and even though we werenā€™t close and he was much younger, his death was like a cloud hanging over me for a few days. I agree you should visit Baltimore **BooFae**. Thereā€™s the Aquarium, and also Little Italy (great restaurants) and Fellā€™s Point (pub crawling). Good Luck! \*\* Nuts\*\* **Swampy** you sure are racking up the Good Deed Karma Points! Howdy Yā€™all! We packed and delivered boxes of non-perishable food and cleaninā€™ stuff. Power is beinā€™ restored to the less devastated neighborhoods and so families are gettinā€™ back to their homes. Thatā€™s at least some good news for some people. Iā€™m sure theyā€™ll be glad to get the food and supplies. One place no one will be goinā€™ back to is a mobile home park that was flattened. ā˜¹ FEMA and all that good stuff is here as well. Dindin will be fried chikin, mac ā€˜n cheese, green beans, and rolls from the Pubic Stoā€™. All that needs to be done is heat 'n eat. Easy enough. **{{{Sunny}}}** hope yā€™all get over this soonest. **MOOOOOOM** closure is a good thing plus you get family points for attendinā€™ the viewinā€™. ---

**Blurf** I got a COLA of 1.9 percent. Woo Hoo. Probably the last one ever. I have stuff to do with no ambition to do it. I went to Kmart and looked around on my lunch break, stopped by the Goodyear place and had them check the air in my tires. I went into the gym here and turned on the TV to news but now there are people in there working out so I am back in my ā€œroomā€. I guess I will delve into a project since end of month is just around the corner. I want to be home taking a nap.
