I refer you to page 248, paragraph 6, sub-paragraph B of Finsbury/Elkington, which clearly states that subsequent rulesets are allowed, so long as they were ratified by a 3/5th majority for tyopgraphical errors or 2/3rds majority for spelling rules. Having seen played in quick succession the precursors Manor House and Mansion House whilst no player is in Nib, the ancient Harbringer’s Homestead Rule allows me to play the rarely seen **Swiss Cottage** to complete the crofters triplet. Yes, it does nowt to advance this game to be sure but as there can be no living memory of seeing the crofters triplet being played it is a monumentally historic achievement. Yay me! Carry on. ---

Having been rumbled with a bear up the jumper previously in this game I would have thought a degree of reticence in these regulatory matters might have been appropriate. Whatever. Swiss Cottage on the Jubilee line opened in 1939, true. However, being originally on the Metropolitan line Swiss Cottage opened in 1868 making it the oldest of the stations in the Triplet. Manor House opened in 1932 is the newest and with Mansion House … well I’ll leave that to you for some bedtime research. Anyhow I’m not claiming points, I’m taking the kudos. **Hyde Park Corner** One suspects an old hand like @Cardigan might be in with a chance of winning the chocolates from here, alas I think I’m one token short. ---

Honestly I did not see that one coming. This would seemingly be the time when one would want to, in the words of Spode, _ruthlessly press home the advantage_. Sadly, I am a single point shy of being able to make the obvious mate in three move back to Camden Town, and must instead fall back on the defensive. I know many out there are staring now at the Jubilee line with their proverbial knives sharpened, and to that end I choose to move to **Bond Street**. Not only that, but I declare an _Escheatment_ in effect for the next two rounds. ---

A delicate touch is required here. The _Escheatment_ plus the Triplet Advantage @penultima_thule could have claimed but didn’t (you didn’t qualify for Crofters, but you did qualify for the less prestigious, but still noteworthy, Metayers Triplet - bad luck).
