Oh, probably far more than that; probably closer to 100%. It’s not really practical to grow up in a racist society and not absorb _some_ of it, even if just unconsciously. And since this is an obvious reference to the recent vote, the word you are looking for is xenophobia, not\* just\* racism. ---

There are other factors besides racism, though that’s definitely a part of it. And it’s not like all the “remain” people are free of racism. ---

Offensive, stupid and demonstrably wrong. If this were true, then the racist party in the UK (UKIP) would get far more votes and representatives in Parliament. (They have one seat.) I also think a country that can elect Donald Trump as a Presidential candidate needs to be very careful about throwing around racist slurs. ---

I don’t agree with **Stringbean** ’s post, but this is just silly. You can’t disprove racism by saying no one votes for the explicitly racist party. Racism occurs in different degrees. All **Der Trihs** is pointing out is that, if you call the Leavers racist, you pretty much have to call everyone racist. Yeah, maybe a little unconscious racism affected their decision, but that happens to everyone. In other words, he’s on your side. ---
