Am I the only one who finds it a little strange that a poster named **delphica** seems to have a bit of a problem about being presented with riddles? ---

Don’t ask me! I’m outta this thread. And I know better than to suggest that the audience couldn’t clap on the backbeat because they were all, well, you know who went to John Denver concerts. Yeah, that’s right. John Denver fans. :eek: And **Delphica** , to let you know I am as big a troll in real life as I am here I see groans as at least equaling laughs. ---

Still, I strongly suspect that after everyone left, the Pythia would haul herself off the tripod and groan “I can’t believe they fell for it _again_! It’s like shooting fish in a barrel!” [sub]Generally speaking, “shooting fish in a barrel” was not an _overly_ common expression in ancient Greece, because shooting fish with a bow and arrow is somewhat difficult seeing as you’ve got to get yourself and your equipment positioned up over the top of the barrel, but she was using her gift of prophecy to see the ease with which it could be done using modern firearms.[/sub] ---
