Genetics be damned; I went through and set all 28 values to “2”. That got me a rather unremarkable squat black thing that grew multicolored squarish flowers. I then set all the values to “8”. I recommend Plant Eight. It makes an excellent stock with which to combine any of your various creations for delightful results. ETA: Plant Nine does appear to be, as might be expected, from Outer Space. Sadly, it does not differ enough from Plant Eight to be interesting in its own right. ---

Okay. Like I noted, I set it up to “evolv-o-matic” with one single “alpine lily” from the Shop. I woke up this morning to this: 4.0, 0x603a31, 10, 21, 38.9, 0.2, 3.4, 1.1, 14.7, 52.4, 0.7, 4, 0.3, 0.5, 0.4, 0.5, 3.9, 0.1, 0.5, -0.7, 0x60809, 0xaca0da, 7.9, 21.0, 14, 26, 0.5, 0.6 and a computer that was running VERY slowly… ---

Here’s what crossing that with a dahlia gets you: 4.0, 0x603a31, 10, 21, 38.9, 0.2, 3.4, 1.1, 14.7, 52.4, 0.7, 4, 0.3, 0.5, 0.4, 0.5, 3.9, 0.1, 0.5, -0.7, 0x60809, 0xaca0da, 7.9, 21.0, 14, 26, 0.5, 0.6 I’ve noticed that crossing with the sakura leeches the color from the result’s flowers, while crossing with the dahlia adds it back in, if you’re going for pink flowers, at least. ---

I came up with this thing after several hours of minor tweaking and mostly letting evolution take its course.
