In Anaheim, I paid $29.99 for a 750 ml bottle of Maker’s Mark, so just over $32 after sales tax. This was from a little liquor store, and not a chain that would probably have less-expensive sauce. I don’t recall how much Maker’s Mark is up here, but I think it’s over $40 – and then there’s the high ‘spirit tax’ and the sales tax. Seems like a bottle is about $50. I really should have hit up a Bevmo! while I was in California.
