A good MP3 player-recomendations?

I’m sure Yahoo, Napster, Rhapsody or others would love to have iPods be compatible with their service, but Apple restricts them to iTunes only.

Here’s a guide to using audio books with iPods.

If you’re a sound snob, you won’t actually like the iPod Classic all that much. According to this guy, the last generation (5G) iPod offered the best sound to date. It loses out in capacity and screen quality to the new Classic, though.

Is there an mp3 player that works better with podcasts? My husband’s old model Zen micro has just died, but he listens to podcasts, radio plays, and the like more than he listens to music. I’ve got the Sansa e250, but I’m not sure how well that works with podcasts. Would the Sansa mSeries be better than the eSeries?

IIRC, most podcatching software like Juice don’t care what type of player they’re connected to and make it easy to listen to podcasts on your MP3 player.

There’s nothing special about podcasts; they’re just sound files. They come in MP3 format as well as AAC. As long as the player can handle the file format, it’ll play the podcast.
