The same people whose mad scheduling skillz have managed to give me 4 classes that need to be rescheduled, so far? There’s another one but it wasn’t caused by them, it was a case of the teacher and her twin babies having the urps (that must’a have been fun, not).
For me it’s an amusing bother, for the woman in the Arabic track with the 3yo daughter it’s real bad coming here for three hours of class and not having any.

I am contemplating going in the shower…not sure I have the energy. I hate being sick ☹
I managed to stay awake for 6 whole hours before I needed a nap whoohoo!
I do wanna get back in bed though… :yawn :

Off to get a flu shot. Owie. Better than the flu, though.
I did a bit of organizing and picking up in my loft and I moved a few things up there to store. What I really need to do is go through everything and get rid of a lot of it but I don’t have it in me, at least not right now. At least it all looks nice and neat, and I got the spiderwebs out of the skylight. I’m sure the spiders will have fun rebuilding.

Home. Yay. Work is being a pain in the patoot - I hope I can grab my team lead for more than 5 words tomorrow.
Bernie goes to the vet in an hour. Her eye has been goopy, and she’s chewed of lots of hair on her legs and tail. Idiot dog. She doesn’t act sick, but she doesn’t look right. So off to the vet we go. And on Sat, she and Scruffy get bathed and stuff. Yay.
Gotta leave food-like substances for \*\*FCD \*\*and the girl. Or make them figger it out themselves. Decisions, decisions…
Is it Firday yet?

Argh. I had a day ALL to myself and I fell asleep. What about the dancing girls and the Dream Date? I thought for sure Viggo was going to stop by–or maybe 1960s vintage Bill Shatner. Instead I did laundry, ran an errand (which I have to redo-I needed BLACK slacks and I bought blue ones. I’m retarded) and then took a nap.
I hate when I waste days.
Soon #2 son will be home. #1 son is walking in the door right now. My echocardiogram was canceled by the doctor’s office. Apparently they don’t do them anymore. Well, then why did you let me schedule it there, people? Now I have to do it at the hospital. I’m pouting about it (at least until tomorrow), then I’ll call and make that appt. :rolleyes: (I’m having palpitations like you wouldn’t believe. But always at rest. Methinks it’s stress since I have no other symptoms. I highly doubt I have mitral valve prolapse, but whatever).
Rainy, humid and a bit warm here. Ugh. I feel bad for Atlanta–apparently it has turned into some kind of fish bowl. 20 inches of rain? :eek:

I talked to mom a little while ago. No major floodin’ at da homeplace but with the Chattahoochee at flood levels, there will be at least some in a couple of days. The Hooch flows pretty much through the middle of the area I grew up in. Mom said they didn’t have quite as much rain as the metro area and surrounding counties but they got a good ten inches of rain over the past three days with what looks like more on the way.
Dindin was good. I make good beast stew and cornbread. Just sayin’… 😃

Wow, I even cleaned out the freezer (bunch of really really really really old stuff in there that I wasn’t about to try to eat) and took out all the trash! I have been productive today. I guess tomorrow I can be lazy, unless I feel really motivated and clean out the science projects from the fridge.
\*\*swampy[b/], can she swim? 😃 No, seriously, that’s a lot of rain. Hope the flooding doesn’t affect her much.
I called my grandma today. She sounded okay, but really tired somehow. I’m a little worried about her. But **Mama Tiger** will be there this weekend to see her, so if there’s anything to worry about I will hear it then. She’ll be 89 next month, and we’ve had a few scares, so even though she drives me crazy, I worry.
**rigs** , a couple of weeks ago I was watching some old Star Trek shows and noticed that Shatner was actually surprisingly (to me) attractive. Though far too full of himself. But not bad looking. He never did a thing for me before. Weird.

Shatner, no… Kirk, yes. I’ve always had a Thing for Captain Kirk, but for years I mocked myself about it. Now that I am middle aged and invisible, I am revisiting the lusts of my youth (so to speak). Kirk is still damned hot.
Don’t get me started on Jim West (Robert Conrad, NOT Will Smith).
I am back from my slacks errand. Once (very) nice thing: the slacks didn’t come in black, so I couldn’t do an even exchange, but the clerk gave me my new black slacks at no extra cost! I saved about $3. Woot!
I came home and did a (very) little yard work. It is hot and humid outside. UGH and YUCK. Send my order back, I want AUTUMN, dammit! Anyway, I changed my shirt and sat down here and then wondered why my soft T shirt was itchy.
I have it on backwards. Obviously, I need a keeper.

Bernie has glaucoma in her right eye - I suspected that. And she may have conjunctivitis in her left eye, but its pressure is OK. And the skin irritation is from fleas! So Frontline doesn’t work on Bernie. The vet gave her a pill to kill off the fleas and I came home with Advantix. And antibiotics. And some cream for her belly. And some goop for her eye. And a receipt for $187… :eek: Guess it’s a good thing I’m gainfully employed.
Daughter and I threw together dinner, and now I’m having some ice cream. Hope I can sleep thru the night - I’s _tahred_…
C’mon Firday! \*\*FCM \*\*wants a weekend!!!

God, my son is sooooooooo pissed at us right now. He’s barely talking to us and is literally thrumming with anger. It’s rare to see him like this.
We were going to pick up his car after I got off work today, and the plan was for me to stop at the bank on the way home to get our contribution in cash. Unbeknownst to me, the bank had changed their hours and had closed at five. I got there at 5:15. :smack: I should have checked their stupid website. I just didn’t stop to think they had changed their hours to only staying open until 5:30 on Fridays.
Anway, our contribution is more than the ATM will let us withdraw at one time.
I feel really badly that I’ve disappointed my son like this.☹
\*\*Mr. Taters \*\*is going to stop at the bank on his way home tomorrow to pick up the cash, because he’ll get home well before I do. As soon as I get home, we’ll hop in his car and collect the car for my son.
Unfortunately, my son has to work tomorrow evening, so can’t come with us. He was looking forward to being able to drive it home.

Well, for me, the two are inseparable. I never did warm up to TJ Hooker one bit.
