Yay! I’m finally home and my weekend has begun. Not that it won’t be busy.
Lessee, tomorrow, I have to take my daughter down for her second attempt at her driving test, and then I need to go back to my side of town to transfer title and all that jazz on the car we got our son. I also need to pick up some staples such as milk and fruit and things like that. We also need to swing by the credit union so my daughter can deposit several weeks of worth of paychecks.
Saturday, there are chores to be completed and I’m sure and errand or 10 will be required.
Sunday, I hope to chill.
Yay for **HRH’s** being nappy-free!
The bathing suit I ordered from Victoria Secret arrived in the mail today. \*\* Mr. Taters \*\*was most appreciative of how it looks on me. It does support the girls quite nicely.
I need to figure out what I’m making for dinner. Tonight will be a check the pantry and fridge for something doesn’t require defrosting. In other words, a throw something together night.

I made carrot cake muffins. They are Teh Nom, even sans cream cheese icing, because I crammed them full of candied ginger and crushed pineapple and walnuts.
(yes, I know… carrot cake exists solely for the purpose of conveying cream cheese icing to mouth… unfortunately, Teh Boy has severe objections to anything cream cheese flavoured, so we stick to plain carrot cake 'round these parts)
I am debating going to The Clothing Show tomorrow. On the plus side, it’s always fun to buy cute new clothes and support local designers, but it’ll be a hell of a shlep because I’m working in suburbia tomorrow… plus I could probably find better uses for the $200+ I shall surely spend, and I really do have entirely too many clothes as it is. Hmmmmmmm.

**snowbunny** , I snerk whenever I see “lardon” on the menu too. I guess my sense of humour is still stuck in gr 6 or something.
Hurray for **HRH** ’s graduation to big girl pants! My, they do grow up fast, don’t they?

I love tomatoes. I usually grow small ones so that I can eat them straight from the plant. They hardly ever even make it to salad.
Went and admired the Chihuly exhibit at the conservatory here tonight. They’re open Thursday evenings and have a bar and food. It’s really very nice.
And now I’m tired and ready to crawl into bed. I’ve been knitting a bit, but think I might read something and then fall asleep…

Just FYI, I saw the skankiest woman getting off the train tonight. Truly, I live in suburban BlandWorld, but this one–HUGE hoop earrings, off the shoulder shirt with plunging neckline, a jean mini-skirt that barely covered her ass cheeks and 4-5 inch FM boots–black leather.
She stood out amongst the khaki clad/ button-down crowd, not to mention the suits. :eek:
She would have looked great (and probably non-skanky, but then I’m old and cantankerous, so perhaps not) if she was going clubbing, but…
Mood better. Off to bed soon. Another day downtown awaits.

actually, **snowbunny** , lardons are small cubes of bacon, from which the fat has been rendered, they are often used as garnish on savory dishes.
Yes, I do watch a lot of Food Network. Why do you ask?

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_
Today ATT finally rolls out MMS for the iphone 3g and 3gs. What are you talkin’ about, you ask? Well, as of today, our \*[del]idiots who have nuttin’ better to do with their money than spend it on a glorified phone[/del] customers with iphones will be able to send and receive picture messages and such. That is, after they download the update from itunes. itunes will probably crash due to too many people wantin’ to update. This means, of course, that people call ATT _instead of_ Apple support and have to be told repeatedly to go to Apple support. :rolleyes:
Personally, I hope it causes all iphones to disintegrate. That would be entertainin’. 😃
Ok, need more caffienation and some brekkies.

Yay! It’s Firday! Seems pretty manic over here today, we’re very short-staffed in the office and it’s induction day for some of the Masters programme students so there are lots of confused people coming and going, plus someone’s having a coffee morning for Macmillan Nurses in our reception area which just adds to the confusion and general milling around.
I am still catching up on my sleep and trying to stay awake all day, wasn’t too bad yesterday but I felt extremely sleepy around 4pm. Luckily as it’s Firday, 4pm is going home time. Then it’s the excitement of grocery shopping afterwards. Oh, I am _so_ living on the edge…

Woo hoo, it’s **FIRDAY**!!!
Today is going to be a busy day at work, fortunately, which will make it seem to go more quickly, or at least it usually does. Even though it doesn’t, really. LOL And then it will be the weekend, and I want to get some Indian food this weekend. At least a paratha or maybe a masala dosa. 🙂 Then I will be a happy camper. 🙂

I’s all flu shotted sans piggies, and I had one (TMI) call while playing bambilance last night. All I’m going to way is that it involved complications to intestinal surgery.
