I want this week to go fuck itself in the ass and die. This week started on Sunday morning, when our beloved cat suddenly got heart failure and we had to take him for his very last vet visit. He was only 8 years old. then today I bought a new reed case and I fucked it up already (too hard to explain.) I hope I don’t have to buy a new one, because unlike many people here on the board, I don’t have much money. then I had to learn how to attach a portable music stand to my clarinet, and fucking failed miserably. I know I shouldn’t get irrationally upset over these things, but… I dunno, maybe I’m just upset over the cat and everything else is just piling on top of that. I just really can’t handle life anymore. ---

I can relate to the clarinet thing. I used to play saxophone in marching band in high school. But yeah, I agree you’re grieving for your cat and it just seems like one thing is piling on top of another. I’m sorry for the loss of your cat. It’s a major loss for any pet companion (I won’t say owner because really, you own each other when you get right down to it.) to lose your pet. Go ahead and grieve for your kitty right now and try not to let the other shit get you down too much. It’s just natural that he’s on your mind right now, but you gave him eight good years. I know that’s not long for a cat’s life, but know he loved and appreciated you every day of it. ---

Poor Em. Loosing a cat sucks. I cried for a week when my fuzzy guy passed away. Cats are wonderful animals. I only wish they lived longer. Since this is the pit, [this guy](https://twitter.com/Dave_Goes/status/504419998186881024/photo/1) can go fuck himself. His son is not lost. His son has autism. If he hates his son so much, he needs to find a father who will love him and not see him as lost or damaged or campaign against vaccines as a means of telling the world he can’t accept and love his own child. The idiots are trying to allege that they’ve found some sort of cover up and that the CDC deliberately ignored factual evidence that black boys are more vulnerable to the MMR. A friend [explains](http://nblo.gs/ZpUj2) why this allegation is bullshit. From what I’ve read about wakefield, he’s killing kids right and left. Well, not doing it personally, but kids need shots just as much as cats do. I’m sorry for your loss, Em. I wish I could take the reed case out of my clarinet case and give it to you, but it is a fitted case and sort of integral. [I got my dad’s antique ebony and silver clarinet wayback in 1970, he got it from his grandfather in 1930, no idea how old it actually is. I adore the fitted case with all the little compartments and boxes for reeds, reed knife, little vials of cork dressing, polish and polishing cloth … they knew how to make stuff back then! Let me preface this by saying that my husband and I do not access the internet or text message from our mobile phones. As far as we are concerned they are strictly for TALKING! My account has pay per use text messaging at the rate of 20 cents per text and data usage at $2.00 per MB. Last night, a friend of my husband’s sent out a group text message inviting a bunch of people to a party this weekend which resulted in 77 texts being billed to his phone as well as a $2.00 data charge. I called and blocked internet and data from the account this afternoon and posted it on Facebook. One of his friends said he should get a better plan; that his is $55 for unlimited everything. I replied “How about $50.00 for two lines. Phones are for talking!” I guarantee that is not going to happen again! ---
