Guess I’ll buy the lightbulbs, read a book in the kitchen tonight (the extractor there is less noisy than the one in the bathroom) and change the bulb tomorrow before leaving for work. Bleagh. ---

It’s the weekend, I’m tired and the restaurant we were planning to go to for all-you-can-eat brunch tomorrow is fully booked. 😛 On a brighter note, hubby has decided to take us out for lunch instead. Yayyyy for my husband. I knew there was a reason I loved him (other than that whole soulmate, father of my child stuff!). Oky-doky, off to bed to dream of not having to wake up at 6:30 in the morning! Yah, right! ---

:fingers crossed: Yawn. Mr. Lissar is away until very late tonight, and I’m doing minimal prep for tonight’s cooking and baking. We’re having chicken stuffing. Oven stuffing made with bread, rice, and pulled chicken. I’ll make gravy to go with it. We might also have some vegetable soup. Probably squash, peppers, and sweet potato. If Nat wakes up and we get to the store for the potatoes. **QD’s** coming over for dinner and to baby-wrangle while I do kitchen stuff. Should be fun. ---

Death chicken and sallit for dindin tonight. Just sounded good. Tomorrow is JoeDawg’s birthday. He’ll be fourteen. JoeDawg, daddy and partner are comin’ over tomorrow night and spend the night. We’re havin’ burgers and cake. JoeDawg will get death chicken rice and bacon in his dindin as a special treat because it’s his birthday. Even a strict nanny like me will relax the rules a bit for a birthday. Sattiday, folks are comin’ over that evenin’ for bbq, baked beans and slaw. Dessert is bein’ brought by a friend who bakes nummy cakes. Today was a day of web-based trainings. More of the same tomorrow. I can haz a case of NoDoz? _YAWN_ Ok, off to do, ummmm… sump’n or other. This week has been nuts. I found out a couple of days ago that an e-friend went in for heart surgery and ended up in the ICU with complications. Finally heard from her today–she sounds very weak, but she’s in a private room and resting. _whew_ :o And then today I had to go to pay my car insurance twice because I forgot my new insurance place doesn’t take debit cards. That meant I had to make two trips to the next town over. :smack: Good thing I take the bus to work now so I can afford these boneheaded mistakes. But to make up for it all, I got my [http://robinmckinleysblog.com/klutz-klub/](http://robinmckinleysblog.com/klutz-klub/) Klutz Klub membership card in the mail today. I couldn’t figure out why I got air mail from England for a few minutes and when I opened it up and realized what it was and who had sent it I almost fell out. :D:cool: And now I have to go back to work for night desk duty.
