**MamaTigger** owie owie owie!!! I looked at all of your pics, owie owie owie! I had staples when my appendix was removed, and it was weird and slightly nauseating when the doc pulled them, but painless, so I hope it is for you too. The painless part, I mean. Between the cat scratches and secondary infection, plus the oh so wonderful side effect that comes after two weeks of antibiotics and a fresh batch of hives from stress, I am being tortured by the itching too. So I will think of you when I want to tear my skin off and won’t scratch, and if it helps you may do the same! Your doggies are cute, sprawled across each other and all sacked out. Hi **taxi**! _waves_ I also feel awkward just popping in and going “blah” about my own world. Right now I have a lot of discomfort and some downright pain, I am tired of having a lame wing. Also, the weather here **sucks**. It was +6F, windchill of -8F this morning. It’s been snowing all day, but it’s that fine, dry snow. It has been so cold for so long that a fire warning has been issued. With the wind coming out of the NW between 20-50 mph a fire would be devestating. The temperatures are supposed to plummet tonight, with an accumulation of up to three inches of new snow. Oh, and there will be blowing snow as well. Skiffman had to go under the house and thaw out the bathroom water first thing this morning, we will run the taps tonight and hope for the best. I am weary of winter, and it’s only the beginning of March. Spring arrives here sometime in the middle of May. _sigh_ Looking back at the thread I see than **MGB** is a funny guy. I predict that he will soon have a bothersome itch in an unreachable place, he will think of us **MamaT** and will and hang his head! **FCM** I empathize with the boobie mashing and squeezing, and concurr that it just isn’t a time and place for modesty. Okay, this has taken me half the afternoon and into the evening to finish, cuz it hurts to type. Just because I have been quiet doesn’t mean that I haven’t been lurking around, and if Georgia is warm enough for nekkid leaf raking, then a true **brother bear** would do so, and then describe the experience to frozen ol’ me. 😃 Okay, my arm has been bandaged up, meds taken, and the bed beckons. I’m considerin’ pressure washin’ my storage buildings today. Now all you preverts can picture nekkid pressure washin’. 😛 However, I will **not** pressure wash nekkid, even if it’s an electric pressure washer that is kinda like the bb gun of pressure washers. Sure there’s pressure (like a bb gun) but nuttin’ like a gas or diesel powered pressure washer. Now that’s some fine pressure! I could borrow my neighbor’s gas powered pressure washer but my little electric one will do the trick just fine on aluminum storage buildings. Have I ever mentioned I have three storage buildings? One for miscellaneous house stuff, one for lawn and yard stuff and one for pool stuff. I have lots of stuff. Why am I up when I don’t _have_ to be you ask? Well, I had to get up to poop and that woke me all the way up so here I sit caffienatin’ up. I should go see if the paper’s here yet. Oh, and for all you Amurrkin (heck, and others for all I know) cool kids, don’t forget that Sunday is _spring forward_ time. Yep, that’s right daylight savings time starts at two a.m. Sunday morning, except for folks in Arizona who have enough sense not to fool with their clocks twice a year. This has been a public service announcement. We now return you to your regularly scheduled MMP. ---

You are ever so thoughtful to remind us once again, **swampy**. Feels weird to be springing forward so early, but I noticed it was still somewhat light when I left work at 6:45 p.m. last night, so it’ll be light at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. Yay! (Easier to get a head start on gardening during the week, you know…) On the other hand, it’ll be dark in the morning, so it’ll be harder to get up… Can’t they just even out the days so that there’s an appropriate amount of light at either end of the day??? 😃 Forgot to comment about **BioTigs** pics. Puppy ones were so cute…all of them. You look all comfy together (and you definitely don’t look like someone who just had her knee traumatized). The knee, OTOH, ick. But so glad to hear it’s getting better. I’m happy to hear about the PT change. I’m sure it’ll be worth the extra drive. Off to get ready for work…at least it’s Friday. GT ---

I love Sebastian! I almost want a bird. I love birdwatching of outdoor birds, and when I’m in stores with pet shops, I always go look at the birdies. Among songbirds, cardinals and mockingbirds are my favorites. There’s a web site where you can download actual birdsongs as ringtones, but unfortunately they can’t send them to Treos, so I’m outta luck there for a while. But how lovely it would be to hear birdsongs when someone calls you! Spring is making an attempt here. Some crocuses and it appears jonquils are starting to push up. Word is it’s going to be in the 60s here today! Woo! Poor **kai** in the Alaskan winter! I’m supposed to go for a boob-squishin’ but I haven’t made the appointment yet. I had my annual appointment at the GYN last week, and have now been informed that I had an abnormal pap, ☹ and I’m to have that taken care of. I was told not to be worried and nervous, but of course I am. So, please think of me everyone; maybe it’ll help me get through it. ---

Morning everyone! I have finals bearing down on me, an 8 hour trip home on Tuesday, and it’s below zero out there before the wind chill. But I am _happy_. Why? Because last night I started chatting online with someone I met on OKCupid. Maddy has been posted on the rescue page as a foster dog in the system, and reading what was posted about her has filled me with much grrrrrrrrr!. I’ll admit that the details are true, but we’re not the responsible party. If you want to see what they say, use your Google-fu, because I won’t post a link. I didn’t get to have my follow up until mid-January (due to wedding, Christmas, New Year’s, doctor on vacation, etc.). I was minorly freaked out during that time, but it turned out to be nothing. Note though that they do like to snip out a piece of your insides for testing which can hurt a bit. :eek: It wasn’t awful, but it’s not something I’d want to do every day. But definitely don’t worry too much; it really is probably nothing. And if all the MMPers are thinking good thoughts, praying, etc., you’ll be fine! ---
