The nearest park is more of a grassy knoll with only a handful of mature trees. The hawk must’ve flown over from the Don Valley where there’s more wildlifey wildlife. I see plenty of scavenger beasts: Raccoons, skunks etc. – the kind that will root through your garbage, but enver ever such a magnificent predator. With all the pigeons, I’d imagine it’s easy pickin’s, as long as he can find a clear stretch to swoop without crashing into the side of a streetcar. It was all kind of exciting. ---
