I wish you could ship some of that frost to Kansas. It’s been an awful summer, hot and humid as usual. I hate summer, and prefer the fall, just before it gets a little too chill to have to close the windows. ---

NBC showed the Sydney accumulation on their national broadcast last night. Of course they were very clear that this in fact wasn’t _snow_, but _soft hail_. Whut the… ---

It must be an issue of some technical definition I suppose. ---

It’s going to be hot until at least mid-September. I’m glad I have an office job, and I don’t have to be outside in the middle of the day. ---

If I could, I would move to Austraila ( or New Zealand) for their winter and back to Michigan for ours. Permanent winter. I’d probably get really depressed and write bitchin’ poetry.
