# A Hip Replacement?? Damn. Say it ain't so.

Cleared to walk properly with both feet !!! X Ray yesterday showed good bone growth into the implant. A huge relief to me.

That said, the surgeon said I should take a few steps. I couldn’t walk properly on the right leg! Turns out I literally need to build back up the atrophied muscles as well as learn to walk without a limp. I’ve been limping for more than a year on the degrading hip.

Coupla weeks on my cane and I should be waltzing with Matilda once again.

Whew.
