I was so tired, I went to bed a bit after 8 last night - tried watching some TV to lull me to sleep, and was crashed before 9. Unfortunately, the German feast exacted its revenge about 11 or so, but once my tummy settled down again, I was out till about 5, when the dog started making noises. All in all, I’m pretty well-rested. Today’s plans involve sorting and organizing the tons of papers in the file drawer and on my desk. Good times! \*\*FCD \*\*just got up, thanks to a certain noisy dog. Not sure if we’re going to breakfast out or not. It’s cool, overcast, and just another day in paradise. Happy Sunday!! ---

Happy Sunday! It’s a cloudy muggy 67 degrees with a projected high of 87, so close the windows and put on the AC. Since I am up too early I think I will go feed the cat now and stop at the store on the way back and then get to irk. I was going to go to lunch with a friend today but she has to come this was on Wednesday so we’ll get together then. She was supposed to come by tomorrow but some asshole hit her van and knocked off the drivers side mirror so she has to put it in the shop. A neighbor got the tag number but the police won’t do anything so she is stuck with the bill. I’d better get moving or I’ll end up sitting here wondering where the day went. ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis a mild feelin’ 68 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 91 for the day and a twenty percent chance of rain. Should be a nice late Summer day. **{{{Apes}}}** hope today is a better day. Ok that’s all I got. I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy needs to be fed. Then purtification for deheathenization shall commence. I get to be Lector (the readin’ not the cannibal kind) today. I suppose I should read over my lesson to make sure there are no weird big words. Boring day, all I am doing is irk. Now I’m taking a break because I’m hungry. I want something good like chicken alfredo but I’ll probably throw some chicken tenders in the oven and heat up some broccoli in cheese sauce in the microwave. Tonight is _Columbo_ night, pretty sad when the highlight of the day is watching TV. ---

I hope I get to watch tonight without interruption and without falling asleep. I’m ready to knock Sah-dog on his butt. I bought him some of that really expensive food that comes in a tube. Even on sale it was $5.50 for a pound tube but since he wasn’t feeling well I thought some soft food would make him feel better. Then when I got home I see a dog his size is supposed to get the entire pound!!! $5.50 a day to feed the dog!!! So we’ve been giving him an 8th of a pound each day on top of his dry food. He just ate his dry food, with the soft food, then follows me into the bedroom and wants his treats, then he sits and stares at me until I give him a bite of chicken, then he heard me open his treat jar so I could add the new treats to it and he bugged me for more treats. Damn dog has me trained! ---

Higgs begs for treats all the time, but we’re mean - she gets very few. Pugs always think they’re hungry, and if you indulge them, you wind up with the fatty-fat pugs that look like Jabba the Hutt. Pugs should be lean and have a clearly defined “waist” such as it is. So she’ll get skritches, but not lots of treats. And on that note, I’m going to assume the knit position. I’ve packed lunch for tomorrow, so my morning won’t be as insane. Hope I can sleep thru the night. I believe someone needs to volunteer for tomorrow. _ **MWAH!** _ ---

I’m in the process of makin’ corned beef ‘n cabbage. Brisket is done, carrots, N.O.T. and onions done, cabbage added and tenderized. Every thing is coolin’ down and shall shortly go into the fridge. Tomorrow all I will need to do is heat it all through. Should be nummy! I had a gnwin’ and a cravin’ for corned beef 'n cabbage. The next person to post starts us off tomorrow! 😃 ---

Funny how that works, four years on and the shop dogs still haven’t done a lick of work. Every time I am there I say “Dogs go do your job” and what I get is “Pet Me”. Trained well, we Humans are.
